In the summer of 2000, collectedstories.com began as an online magazine devoted to literary short fiction, publishing original stories quarterly and featuring short fiction books and news, including original author interviews. In 2006, the site went on hiatus, with the last issue of original stories appearing in the summer of 2005. Selected original content remains active, as the site was and is a labor of love by the founders.
